If you are joining us on Saturday 4th November for our spectacular Bonfire Buffet, here is some information to help you plan your day.
Making a day of it? There will be a Farmer's market running from approx 9am-5pm in Carlisle city centre, selling lots of local produce.
Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery is open from 10am – 4pm; with a drop-in bonfire crafts session taking place from 1pm-6.30pm in the Community Room. Here you can get out of the cold, relax and make edible sparklers! Our Garden Restaurant will be open too, serving hot food and drinks throughout the day.
The Bonfire buffet will be served in the Function Room (just next to the Garden Restaurant, where you will be seated) from 6.00pm – please arrive anytime from 5.30pm. The staff on reception will have your name on a list, and will tick you off as you arrive. There will be a cash bar selling soft drinks, alcohol and mulled wine too. The children will have an opportunity to decorate chocolate apples with sprinkles and also make fruit rockets.
We will head up to the LOOKOUT VIEWING PLATFORM at around 7pm – 7.10pm, to wait for the Fireworks from the Bitts Park Fireshow. Please note: this is an outside area, you won’t need wellies but you will need to wrap up warm!
After the Firework display (approx 7.45pm) we will return to the reception area, where you can wander home.
We are all looking forward to welcoming you to Tullie House Bonfire Buffet on Saturday.
See you soon!Suzanne Manuel
