Tullie House recently launched two new membership schemes and are delighted to welcome their first corporate members; Gen 2 and Lloyd Motor Group and over 150 individual members.

The membership schemes give people and businesses the opportunity to take part in unique behind the scenes events, activities and exhibition launches. On an individual level   membership provides the opportunity for people to learn about everything from local and international artists, to Vikings and Romans and the history of Carlisle to wildlife and the biodiversity of Cumbria.

Our corporate members have the opportunity to use their corporate passes for staff visits or to entertain clients at Tullie House and to promote their business via our unique marketing and sponsorship opportunities.

At Tullie House we pride ourselves in engaging with all sectors of the community and the membership scheme not only helps us to do that, but also helps to contribute towards our financial sustainability.  As a registered charity we rely on grants, sponsorship and donations -the membership scheme is an ideal way for anyone to help support the museum and secure its future.

Mike Smith – Chief Executive Officer, Gen 2 said: “Gen2 are delighted to have become one of Tullie House’s first corporate members. We have a long association with the museum, having supported them with their highly successful Apprenticeship programme over the past few years. Since starting up our business in Carlisle some 8 years ago, we also strongly believed in supporting a range of sporting and cultural events and organisations that contribute to the wider social fabric of the city. Our sponsorship therefore, of Tullie House makes perfect sense in the context that it represents one of the ‘jewels in the crown’ of the city’s cultural and tourist attraction.”

Terry Hall – Head of Marketing, Lloyd Motor Group said: “We are delighted to have signed up and look forward to encouraging our customers and staff to take advantage of the fantastic cultural, historical and educational facilities available at Tullie House.

We want to see Tullie House continue to play a pivotal role in our community and will be working with them to ensure the City of Carlisle continues to enjoy having the very best Museum and Art Gallery”.
