Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery Trust are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for the Telegraph Family Friendly Museum Award – the biggest museum award in Britain. It was a particularly tough year, with over 800 nominations, but Tullie House has been chosen as one of the top six most family friendly museums in Britain.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who voted. We are now busy behind the scenes preparing for an extra special summer of family activities linked to our interactive and educational ‘Eye for Colour’ exhibition.

The Family Friendly Museum Award is sponsored by Telegraph Newspaper Group and gets more nominations than any other museum award in Britain, and probably in the world!  Over the course of the summer, family judges will be visiting Tullie House and assessing it for its family friendliness.

Hilary Wade, Director of Tullie House said “We are delighted that we have been shortlisted for this important award.  The museum works extremely hard to develop innovative and engaging family friendly activities and exhibitions that will appeal to all of our visitors.  We would like to thank everyone who has nominated Tullie House”.
