In this special workshop, experience artists and teachers Patrick and Anne will share their ideas and techniques for making the most of solid graphite sticks, exploring the potential of graphite as a medium in its own right to produce tone and texture. A huge range of textures can be created, including natural materials and buildings, particularly stonework and timber. Finished pieces are beautifully detailed and can be achieved by anyone with the right tuition. This course welcomes beginners who will be taught basic skills and more experienced artists to share ideas.

Tickets: £35 per day - participants can choose to attend just the Saturday or both days (includes materials, tea and coffee and admission to the Museum).
