Dove Cottage was cold and bare upon William and Dorothy's arrival in 1799 and the siblings' first few weeks there were marked by hard work to transform the house into 'comfortable dwelling.'
Spend time with other families at our fun-filled toddler drop-in sessions for children up to 5 years old. Our sessions have a relaxed atmosphere and involve a range of activities including crafts and creative play, and if the weather's nice we make use of the beautiful gardens!
