Explore the Solar System: Science and Scratch Art is one of our drop in sessions that run from 1pm – 4pm, and explores our collections in fun, imaginative ways.
 
Be inspired by Tullie’s treasures and create a “souvenir” of your visit to take home. Activities are craft based and linked to current exhibitions.
 
Create 'out of this world' planetary decorations by scratching one of our solar system shapes to reveal vibrant rainbow colours. Why not hang it up at home?
 
The science of star gazing was very significant in ancient times; join Emma Richards, expert astronomer, under  the starry sky in our Wildlife Dome as she introduces us to the wonders of our Solar System. Using to-scale models representing planetary sizes, we will take an imaginary journey of discovery, visiting each planet in turn and finding out fascinating facts about them.
