Carlisle had its very own theatre in Georgian days and the actors would paint their faces to take different parts in a play. Enjoy facepainting fun and pretend to be on stage!

Our drop in sessions run from 1pm - 4pm and explore our collections in fun, imaginative ways.

Be inspired by Tullie's treasures and create a 'souvenir' of your visit to take home. Activities are craft based and linked to current exhibitons. They are particularly suitable for families with children aged from 4 - 11 years.

 

Price Information :

Activities are free, but normal admission charges apply to the galleries.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Due to the success of this free programme, there may be some queuing, so please by prepared to wait patiently.
