ArtyFacts for Early Years – IN-HOUSE SESSION

Exciting activities designed to stimulate the children's interest in the pictures and objects from the collection, and to promote coverage of the six areas of learning from the Foundation Stage Curriculum.

These sessions take place during themed weeks and are available either mornings or afternoons. They are free to those in receipt of nursery education funding and last for 1½ hours. They can be booked morning or afternoon, except for Wednesday afternoons which are usually open to families.

Practitioner evenings -

To make the most of your visit why not attend a practitioner evening to find out about these sessions? This is your chance to look at the resources and chat to staff about potential visits. You only need to attend a practitioner evening once but please feel free to come again if you wish.

Nursery Boxes – LOAN BOXES

A range of innovative loan boxes specifically aimed at nursery age children.

Each box contains a set of objects both old and new, complemented by story books, puzzles, picture packs, information and ideas for use. The resources are designed to encourage speaking and listening and give the children a hands-on experience of the past and the opportunity to compare it with the present day. Nursery Boxes are free to all Foundation Stage settings.
