Part-time Security Gallery Assistant
Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery has recently transferred from Carlisle City Council to become an independent charitable trust. This is an exciting new era for the museum. Grade C (£15725 - £16440 pro – rata)
13.5 hours per week average
We’re looking for someone who likes to work in the evenings - has an understanding of security issues - the self-confidence to work without supervision and can demonstrate high levels of customer service and experience in dealing directly with the public.
Your main role will be to cover security (including closing and securing the building) and staffing the busy schedule of evening events. It is desirable to have experience of cash handling and good IT skills.
The post is primarily afternoon and evenings, worked on a roster system and flexibility to work additional hours in the evening is paramount.
We will guarantee 13.5 hours per week, with potential for additional hour’s dependant on business demand.
A full induction and training programme will be provided for all aspects of the role.
An Enhanced Criminal Disclosure will be required for the above position.
