Raiders and Reivers by John Sadler

John Sadler was asked to write a book about the legends and history of the Border Reivers which would appeal to the general reader and to young people. The result was 'Raiders & Reivers', a book guaranteed to excite the reader with its vivid descriptions and fascinating historic detail. Complemented by original drawings and paintings by local artists Rachel Pearson and Christine Browell, this book celebrates the Reivers, particularly those latter day Reivers of Tarset in Northumberland, whose enthusiasm to keep alive the memory of their ancestors prompted this volume.
