What was it like to live through the war years? Using objects to explore the 1940s, find out what life was like for an evacuee, discover more about the Home Front and look at the soldier's wartime experiences. Schools spend half the day at Tullie House Museum and half the day at Carlisle Castle.
This is a hands-on session, with opportunities to make a gas-mask box and take home an identity card.
