Tullie House 'User Group'
User Group membership is available to educational groups based within Cumbria, southwest Scotland and west Northumbria.
The museum User Group was launched in 1991 to provide strong links between school groups and the museum. Through INSET sessions and the provision of resources, the Learning and Access Service offers a learning package which is both responsive to the needs of individual schools and makes maximum use of the collections and space at Tullie House. A yearly Newsletter - School Link - informs User Group members of all activities and exhibitions at Tullie House. Schools renew their subscriptions annually for the academic year.
User Group members receive the following benefits:
· Free entry into the Museum
· Free Object Handling Sessions
· Reduced price for special events
· Free access to a wide variety of loans
Subscription rates for the User Group depends on the number of students in your establishment.
