Volunteering
We are not recruiting volunteers at the moment
Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery Trust are fully committed to an extensive volunteering programme. The volunteering ethos has played an integral part in the day to day activities of the museum for many years.
Volunteers at Tullie House help on a range of projects and programmes linked to the museum’s collections and exhibitions including; the refurbishment of the Tullie House garden, running the ‘outreach’ reminiscence service, helping create exhibitions and are involved in the museum’s oral history projects.
As we go into the future it is intended to further develop the volunteer contribution by creating a gallery based service to enhance the interpretation of the collections.
The volunteer programme at Tullie house won, in 2010, the Marsh Trust Award, this prestigious, national award, was in recognition of the outstanding contribution Tullie House’s Volunteers have made over recent years.
