As part of the Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery response to COVID-19, the learning team at the museum get cracking on some egg-cellent step by step craft videos of the activities planned for families during the Easter holiday.
The learning team are aiming to bring the museum to Cumbrian people at home by releasing videos via social media channels including YouTube and Facebook, with 7 Easter craft videos planned over the two weeks before Easter weekend. Crafts include spring flowers, woolly lambs, Easter bunny party hats, 3D Easter cards and egg decorating.
Sarah Forster, Schools and Families Coordinator said “As the museum will be shut this Easter holiday, we thought it would be great if families could make our planned crafts but just at home instead. Our school holiday programme is such an important part of what we have on offer at the museum and we wanted to make sure families were still able to take part. We have tried to make the crafts from materials that families should already have at home so it should be easy to have a go. We would love to see what everyone creates!”
