Women were the heartbeat of the Pre-Raphaelite movements. If we imagine a Pre-Raphaelite work of art what often comes to mind is an extraordinary, androgynous-looking woman in a scene painted with jewel-like colours.
In April 2020, we asked members of the public to send us their photos of life in lockdown and tell us what the images meant to them. Some of these photos are now on display in our garden.
