Artists Showcase for Source: Cumbrian Digital Artist Development Lab 2020-2021

Join us for a free afternoon of celebration of Cumbrian Digital Art.

The seven winning artists of the Source commission have been working with Lakeland Arts, Signal Film and Media, Tullie House Museum or Wordsworth Grasmere to produce a digital artwork inspired by their host venue.  For this event the artists have come together to share their work and tell you about their experience of developing their digital art practice.

The artists are: Ellie Chaney; Danielle Chappell Aspinwall; Chris Dennett; Zoe Forster; Amy Johnson; Katrin Joost; and Jennifer McMillan.

Whether you’re interested in art as a viewer or maker, digital or analogue, the afternoon promises to be insightful and enjoyable. With each artist presenting their work, followed by a round-table discussion this gives you the opportunity to hear direct from artists and have your questions answered.

Take the opportunity to see Eleanor Chaney's thought-provoking work on display in the gallery, and a feature presentation of Jennifer McMillan’s Shadow Clock promises to be a dramatic end to this celebration event.
