To keep visitors and staff safe, the museum has conducted a full risk assessment of the building and its services. Conforming with government guidelines, you can expect to see: a one-way route into and out of the cafe with clear social distancing signage, clear queue markings and staff to monitor and advise as required. We've also installed protective screens and encourage you to use contactless payment methods.
Peter Johnston, Director of John Watts:
“We are delighted to reopen the café, offering a range of scones, cakes, sandwiches and jacket potatos. To view the menu click here. These allow us to reflect our customers' favourites, the reduced opening hours, gauge demand and work in partnership with Tullie House to manage their running costs”.
The cafe will be open for light refreshments. You'll be able to enjoy the outdoors too. With the provision of a new range of gazebos, you can experience the fabulous gardens whatever the weather.
