Once Upon a Planet Twilight Taster
Sign up has been extended to 27 January
This is an out-of-hours event exclusively for young people aged 16-25 to find out more about the Tullie House Natural Science collections, the Once Upon a Planet project and how you can get involved.
Starting with an introduction to the museum, an overview of the Once upon a Planet project and a brief exploration of our Natural Science collections.
We will then be splitting into 3 smaller groups for workshops around the museum.
- You'll get a closer look at our incredible Natural Science collection.
- Find out how collecting Biodiversity data can help us learn about the climate crisis and how it is affecting our local area.
- Have your say about how we can create opportunities for young people to lead and be at the heart of this project!
After a quick break, we'll listen to a number of local partners, organisations and influencers. From national groups that protect some of our most precious habitats, city-based collectives that help communities to become more sustainable, to inspiring young people that are going above and beyond to help the natural world - there will hopefully be something of interest to everyone! Oh and we'll also have pizza for attendees.
We'll finish up by sharing how you can get involved with Once Upon a Planet, including our fantastic Project Advisor group. We hope you'll come away excited about the project, and we'll come away with a better understanding of what Once Upon a Planet might mean to young people!
In the meantime, if you have any questions, have any accessibility needs/ dietary requirements – please email rachel.owen@tulliehouse.org
