Situated in the heart of Carlisle, Tullie House Museum offers a stunning, unique setting for your special day.

The most important day of your life deserves a truly beautiful setting and Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery creates the perfect location to Say 'I Do'. Hosting your ceremony or celebration in our stunning museum will be nothing short of perfect.

Located in the Historic Quarter alongside Carlisle Cathedral and Carlisle Castle, the tranquil gardens and beautful Grade 1 listed 17th century mansion provide the ideal backdrop for memorable photographs.

We offer a range of flexible packages designed to make your big day as stress-free as possible leaving you time to spend with those you love and to enjoy every moment of your wedding day.

We know it is a difficult time at the moment when it comes to organising and planning for your special day. But we want to reassure couples that we will do everything we can to relieve any pressures or anxieties you may have.

Current restictions for weddings in England mean that numbers for ceremonies and celebrations are vastly reduced. See current guidelines here .

We believe that Tullie House provides the perfect venue for small, intimate weddings. You will have exclusivity of one of our many ceremony rooms as well as our spacious Garden Room or Reading Room for your wedding breakfast and access to the full museum to get the perfect photos to capture your unique day.

Tullie House is a covid-secure venue with all safety measures in place.

We are still able to offer show rounds of our venue and meetings with our Wedding Coordinator, whether this be in person or virtually. We are still taking bookings and provisional bookings allowing you the flexibility and time you need to make the all important decisions.

If you would like to organise a meeting or would like to find out more information please call us on 01228 618 701 or email
